Ian Campbell - Chair of trustees

I became involved with SSBB as a parent when my daughter Tillie Campbell started in 2003 with Junior Band.

Since then I became a committee member and was an active part of the team involved in converting SSBB to a registered charity and since then have been a trustee. In 2015 I became chairman of the SSBB trustee’s.

As chairman I am responsible for overseeing policy and I also look after logistic (Van driving) for our many concerts as well as day to day finance such as members subscriptions and instrument hire.

As a "none musical" member of the team I really enjoy seeing the players progress through the organisation and find what the they gain in terms of their musical achievements and how they grow as individuals amazing.
