John Hutchinson - Brass Tutor

I am a professional trumpet player, teacher and composer and became involved with SSBB in 2017 when my son joined as a beginner.

I left the Royal College of Music in 1999 and have since been working with Joss Stone, Ronan Keating, Brand New Heavies, Bjork, Nick Cave, BBC Big Band, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera, the Royal Opera and many other international artists and groups. I am also Head of Brass at Sedbergh School and teach brass and composition at Shrewsbury School.
